Whiskered Bat Myotis mystacinus

One of Britain’s smallest Myotis bats, very similar to Brandt’s bat and not reliably distinguished in the field without close examination or echolocation analysis. Dark grey-brown fur above, greyish-white below; dark brown face giving a slightly shaggy appearance; long, narrow tragus.
