Natterer’s Bat Myotis nattereri

A medium-sized bat with unusually broad wings and a diagnostic fringe of short, stiff curved hairs along the edge of the tail membrane. Grey-brown fur above, clean white below; pale face with a pinkish tinge; large ears; highly manoeuvrable in flight, often hunting very close to vegetation and gleaning insects from surfaces.
