Westminster Briefing. The Government has introduced it's “Enhanced Environment Bill” back into parliament. Biodiversity net gain (BNG) is top of the agenda, requiring that “new houses [built]… protect and enhance nature, helping to deliver thriving natural spaces for local communities”.
18-23rd May 2020 at University College London. Responding to the considerable need to conserve European ponds, the conference will combine pond biology, hydrology and landscape ecology with pond conservation practice and welcomes both scientists and conservation practitioners to the meeting.
Save the date - the ATF 2020 Summer Forum will be held on 14 & 15 July in Suffolk. The Summer Forum will be a joint event between the Ancient Tree Forum and Suffolk County Council. More information on venues and timings will be provided in due course.
